It’s a Piece of Cake! I just did it!!

Debbie is a working parent with a gorgeous seven year old. She is a lively, energetic person and has taken on the Vicki Witt Nutrition Program as a life long eating plan.

Like most of us, Debbie has tried many well known diet programs, and like most of us has not been able to keep the weight off permanently.

Debbie was introduced to Vicki’s program by her personal trainer and has been following the program for eight months. The weight has been steadily coming off and according to Deb, the eating plan is ‘easy’ to stick to. In fact, and in her own words, it’s a ‘piece of cake’ because she never feels hungry.

“Although I was pretty healthy anyway, I started on Vicki’s eating program because I was ‘just fed up with myself … but now….I’m not! I’ve referred four people who have seen Vicki after me, and they are all delighted. And people who have seen me go from a size 18 to a size 12 make comments like “Oh, you look fantastic!”

When asked if she was happy with her weight loss results, she simply said “Awesome honey! I just reckon it’s cool. It’s easy … it’s too easy!”



Healthy and Wise

Lucie’s motive for coming to see Vicki was different than most. Her main concern was to restore and maintain optimum health and well being. She had been following a high protein diet which, although producing an initial weight loss, did not sustain a permanent weight reduction. The side effects of this diet were toxicity and an overall feeling of being unwell.

Lucie learned of Vicki’s program whilst visiting her physiotherapist.

“Vicki’s eating program not only helps people to reach their weight loss goals but also delivers many health benefits. For me, it’s primarily health; I didn’t go to lose the fat since my main concern was health and well being. And so it was an all round desire to feel healthier, achieve better sleep, better and more constant energy, no mood swings and get rid of cravings. My hormones are now level, the menstrual cycle is much better and on top of that, I’ve lost 10 kilos of fat!”

According to Lucie: “It’s easy, flexible, empowering and you know what you need to do to be healthy. I’m vegetarian, but I also like to eat fish, so I’m limited in the variety of food, but it doesn’t seem to bother me. I used to have 5 o’clock cravings for chocolate but I use the Megaburn bars now. And that’s the thing; I have to remind myself to eat as my blood sugar is so constant.

“Going out for lunches is sometimes a challenge because most lunch shop menus are based on bread - but in restaurants and eating at home there is no problem at all. As far as the eating plan is concerned, it’s a way of educating ourselves to eat properly and to maximise our potential. So it’s not a diet, it’s a way of eating.

“I have increased energy. I feel like I’m living again and I’m just relaxing and enjoying life!”



You don’t notice it’s a diet!

Melissa had dieted in the past and was virtually eating nothing. She was exercising regularly, but the more weight she lost, the harder it became to shed those last kilos.

“I lost weight but I was virtually eating nothing, and of course you can’t keep that up indefinitely. I heard about Vicki from a relative who had gone to see her for weight loss.

The Real Incentive

Sylvia is a mother of a nine year old girl who was being teased and bullied at school just because she was overweight. Her parents decided that they needed expert help for their daughter to lose weight and also gain a better self image of herself as well as greater confidence in her everyday life.

The pressure to be stick thin like Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham, Mischa Barton is alive and well and truly entrenched throughout our society. If you’re not thin …you’re not in!

Sylvia took her daughter to see Vicki, and then the question was asked: “What is the number one reason that you want to lose weight?” The answer was immediate: ‘So I don’t get called fat at school and get picked on for being fat and ugly!’ My daughter broke down in tears and fell into my arms. And then I was crying and Vicki was crying too. This was a defining moment in our lives.”

“I realised right at that very moment that she would need more than just my support in organising her meal plan. She needed me,.as her mother, to be ‘the incentive’, the ‘example’. I had to make my own personal commitment to weight loss. You have to be very organised because there’s more preparation time with the food.

“One little thing I have learned is to make a written contract with yourself … and sign it! I want to do the right thing. You really have to be committed! I think the commitment with the contract equals the confidence you’re going to get later. And I have that confidence because of what Vicki has taught me about the foods groups and what I should be eating. I know what to put inside our bodies now.

“My kids keep telling me all the time: ‘Mum you look so great!’ When I get dressed up and go out, my son says: ‘Mum you look really sexy!’ They never told me that before because I was a 14 to 16. I’ve lost the weight now; Vicki has helped me make a lifetime adjustment.

“You have to be ready … mentally ready. You can’t make a change of any sort without being ready. My addiction was food – especially chocolate, and bad foods - and now I have to say that she just put me on the right track. My daughter is nine and I’m 51, and she says to me: ‘Mum I don’t want to go back to being overweight again’, and I said ‘You know, we’re done with that for ever … this is a lifetime change!’ She said: ‘Oh Mum, I love being thin!’

“Vicki is not pushy. She knows her stuff,. She knows what she’s doing, and I feel comfortable with her. She’s very professional. And you know, you don’t just walk into that office and just see Vicki. It’s the staff too - they are two people who enjoy their jobs. They know how to treat people and they care about others.

“I’m ecstatic with the weight loss! And there have been other benefits as well since my skin is clearer, I sleep better and have more energy. People who knew me when I was big now see me as a size 10 to 12, so I’m a walking advertisement! I’m going to wear a little black dress today, and it’s amazing the confidence I have because I can walk in somewhere now without having a handbag wrapped around my hip.

The Big Change

I heard of Vicki Witt Nutrition from my daughter and her husband who went to see Vicki first of all. Not that they needed to lose much weight, but mostly it was just making sure that their diet was correct for their lifestyle. So they went to it and with great success!

Our daughter and son-in-law actually got us our first appointment. They paid for it because they were very concerned about us being overweight. It was our special birthday and Christmas treat and that was wonderful!

We have never been essentially big eaters but we were eating a certain amount of starchy carbohydrates - as in cereal and grains. The first couple of weeks were obviously the hardest, but I can’t say that I ever really felt hungry. I obviously still had cravings for the sort of food I wasn’t supposed to eat.

I took to it really quickly. My body started to feel really good and now I’ve got heaps more energy. And because I’ve lost weight, I’m not putting such a strain on my joints and I’m feeling a big difference there.

I’m sleeping better now, and that’s a real benefit for me because I have been a very poor sleeper in the past.

When you’re on holiday, you can be at the mercy of other influences, but we actually found it quite easy.

I plan a long journey now, I take the Megaburn bars with me so we can stop to have half a bar. Our life is now a little bit more organised - which is good!

We are far more aware now of what we are putting into our mouths because of the plan - and now, it’s virtually a lifestyle.

I’m the sort of person who needs to have a little nudge now and then so that I don’t slip back.
